Even as X-Men: Days Of Future Past surpasses the $150 M mark at the box office in only its second weekend, it also falls back into second place at the box office. The debuting Maleficent took the top spot, pulling in $69 M to X-Men’s $32 M. A Million Ways To Die In The West debuted in third place, earning $16.8 M. Showing up in only three theaters nationwide, Filth was the highest rated of the debuting films this weekend. It pulled in an average of $2500 per theater, which would’ve put it in the top 10 had it been released in a similar number of theaters as those movies.
