Makes you re-think going into strange houses in the woods, doesn’t it?
The Blair Witch Project
“Three film students go missing after traveling into the woods of Maryland to make a documentary about the local Blair Witch legend leaving only their footage behind.“
Why did I include this film? It introduced a large audience to “found footage” films and had quite a few people thinking that it was an actual documentary of sorts.
Starring: Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, Joshua Leonard
Written and Directed by both Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez
FEATURED REVIEWS:
Dan The Man – 90/100 – “It may not be a true story, like the film suggests, but the scares here work because you see nothing, there is no big-budget special effects, and its all about feeling and atmosphere, which makes it all feel so realistic, and equally as terrifying.”
