- I guess the question is whether or not this is supposed to just be a standalone thriller with no social commentary or is it a message on Wall Street? Because if it is the latter, while it definitely rides the wave of populist anger, it doesn't seem so sure as to who to blame for the mess. Is it the television shtick-heavy hack? Or is it the corrupt businessman? Or perhaps it's just the system in general? Ironically, the one man the movie never tries to blame is the guy with the gun.
